Week 1



Week 1 - Introductions  (Jan 9 - 15, 2012)


During the first week of the course, participants will:
  • sign up and try tools for synchronous and/or asynchronous communication to be used during the session
  • exchange introductions (Glogster)
  • add themselves to a group map (Google map)
  • answer a survey to determine their previous experience with web 2.0 tools and podcasting (Surveymonkey)
  • record expectations to the course on a web-based recorder (Voxopop)
  • Web search podcast websites and create a pool of useful podcasts for the ELT classroom.

    Evelyn, The time set for the live session on the 14th is according to your time zone in Venezuela, not GMT. Take a look. 9:00 GMT is a very different time for me (middle of the night).
